The Treasure Museum of the Basilica
The Museum of the Basilica of Saint Mary Major is fairly recent, having been inaugurated by Pope John Paul II on 8 December 2001.

The museum displays the Basilica's treasures, including paintings, liturgical objects, relics and objects that belonged to Pope Pius V.

You can also admire a bust of Pope Paul V by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
